I’ve been working on practicing visualization for my art and small business. This morning I put four mugs into shipping boxes as a sign to the Universe that I was ready and prepared to ship them out. So far two have sold while I’ve been at work. ✨ Keeping my fingers crossed for the last two!
TBH, I just want to lay out in the sun and drink a frozen bevvy out of one of these.
I feel really proud of my summer collection that launches tonight. I played a lot with new glazes and different combinations, and I think the fun playfulness I wanted to capture really comes through. 😎☺️ I’m a firm believer that you should be in love with your work first, so that others can be too!

Instead of serving lewks and chicken parm at the restaurant this weekend, I’m celebrating my cousin getting married in PA with family. It’s nice to take a break from making pottery before I buckle down and start planning for a few summer shows.
I made this adorable vase and idk, making a new form that you just so clearly see yourself in feels really good.

Feeling nostalgic as heck today as I look at old photos of some of my original designs. I’m actually really proud of the work in this photo, even if I never resonated with the glazes I was using at the community studio at the time. Gosh I’ve always been a fan of a straight line. 😅

I took a chance and went dancing at a rave tonight instead of working in the restaurant. 10/10 I recommend. I even got home earlier than I do from work! Art in any form is good for the soul.

The mug that started my entire slipcasting journey. The very first model I made of this design I used an old stemless wine glass and bright colored bouncy balls. I immediately knew I needed to make the design come to life because it just felt so good to hold!

Is it cringe to talk about disappointing results? I wanted and thought this collection would sell out, but I think I need to accept that I need to step up my social media game in order to attract the sales I desire.
