Letter to City of Toronto Re Hazards Ignored A hazard long known to cyclists in Toronto has been ignored by the City of Toronto, despite people being injured by it. It's further deterioration over the winter should be a call to action.

At least now maybe it'll get fixed since driver's may be inconvenienced.

The huge hump in the Queen's Park loop bike lane just north of Hoskins has of course gotten worse this winter.

Despite us notifying the City twice in August about cyclists injured here, nothing has been done. The hazard now stretches into the two adjacent motor vehicle lanes...1/2

A real live look into Cop Brain:

1. Driver hits a cyclist in a bike lane. The cyclist is knocked unconscious and receives multiple fractures
2. The attending cop follows the victim to the hospital to give a ticket for "cycling without a helmet" which does not exist
3. Driver gets off with no charge

Another TPS Cover-Up: Cyclist Doored by Cop, Blamed by Investigator A cyclist was doored by a TPS officer. The officer wasn't ticketed. Instead, the cyclist was blamed!

Our client was doored by a TPS officer. We later found out that the investigating officer blamed our client for being doored.

This same investigator in 2024 ticketed a cyclist client of ours hit in a bike lane for not wearing a helmet! Read our blog here:

Toronto has some 'outrageously big' potholes, the mayor says. A repair blitz is coming | CBC News Toronto's harsh winter has led to some "outrageously big" potholes, its mayor says, and city crews will soon fan out to fill them as part of a repair blitz.

Ava Williams, lawyer at The Biking Lawyer LLP, said potholes are hazards to cyclists & she usually sees an increase in calls about potholes as it gets warmer.
