I submitted my paperwork last week and already have confirmation. Now, we just need to get to race day.

It's a fantastic race! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Plus this year is the 100th anniversary of Route 66, so I am hopeful the swag is amazing.
True, but I'm also trying to run a half marathon in all 50 states! Granted, I've checked off Oklahoma with Route 66 a few years ago.
I got a degree at OSU, so I've visited OKC and toured the memorial and museum. No argument about the emotions of the museum right at the start. For me, it's about whether I am interested enough to run the half there. There's SO many races and such little time.
Have you run that race before? I haven't, but hear good things about it. I've debated running it, but would appreciate more insight before I put it on my tentative radar.
I saw the promo for that Tuesday in Midland was 2-for-1, so that's rather tempting. I'll let you know if that may work for us. If not, we can definitely meet up in Lubbock. You may get to see the Buddy Holly glasses crosswalks before they're gone.
Depending on scheduling, my wife & I could/might join y'all in Midland. We've not made it there for a game, yet.

A7: For 6 weeks, I ran the streets in Lubbock, TX. Then I had to jump into a dumpster to avoid 4 unleashed dogs. I now just run the college campus. I think that says it all. #RunChat
