Do you have any PC repair stores around you? I know that some of them do have services where they can help you access and back up data from old/damaged/dead devices (as long as the hard drive isn't the one that's fried).

For the steam cards, I think it's cause we only just became friends. I can try again after 3 days (cause thats when it apparently unlocks lol)

Dammit I wanted to send you the games as a gift, then I tried the steam cards but I can't because of the difference in price for our regions ;;n;;
