This is super interesting.
The last one I can read fluently is 1600.
I can then still read it and figure out (almost) every word, with some puzzling, but then lose it almost completely at 1200.

A pie chart titled with its legend "Sky", "Sunny side of pyramid", and "Shady side of pyramid". The majority of the circle, a large blue segment, represents "Sky". A smaller, bright yellow segment represents the "Sunny side of pyramid", and an even smaller, darker yellow segment represents the "Shady side of pyramid", creating a visual impression of a pyramid base within a circular sky.

π€ How accurate are your fitness trackers?
Activity trackers can overestimate activity and misclassify sleep stages β but how accurate are they in real life?

I'm interested in further research around what we can do to support this group in terms of healthy lifestyle
Given the large numbers currently NEET as highlighted by @resfoundation.bsky.social , we should be very concerned about this particular group and their future health needs
Further discussion of our study which highlights that a group of young adults not entering full-time employment by age 24 (ALSPAC) had the worst cardiometabolic outcomes at this age. www.imperial.ac.uk/news/269613/...

I live close enough to work to do this but there are other ways our workplaces can support #PhysicalActivity & #health Via @ca.theconversation.com theconversation.com/how-employer... #MakeYourMove
Along with poor cardiometabolic health in an 'Early Employment group' as has been seen in previous studies. Two other groups 'Higher Education' and 'Extended Education' were more healthy.
πIndividual socioeconomic inequalities (based on education and employment trajectories) in cardiometabolic health can already be identified at age 24. The Part-time Employment group showed worst cardiometabolic health. #inequalities #earlyadulthood @laura-howe.bsky.social @adh30.bsky.social

What you see when you look at this image depends on the culture you grew up in. The question is: Are you shocked to hear that some people see rectangles or circles? That and more of the best from @science.org and science in this edition of #ScienceAdviser: www.science.org/content/arti...
As researchers we could help by giving young people more of a platform to talk about health, combat misinformation, and share their own experiences.
