The idea behind dfc-tui came from experimenting with how we can render different organizations’ blogs or tools directly inside the terminal, making learning and exploration more interactive.

I was building TryoutShell, a terminal-based learning tool. During a weekend experiment, I applied the idea to dfc-ui, creating dfc-tui — a terminal Dockerfile Converter that transforms regular Dockerfiles into Chainguard-compatible ones.
