Nobody show him any of the Trump = Cyrus the Great stuff.
It's too creepy.
Maybe distract him with the cats.

Is that a good measure for the quality of a doctrine then?
That it can usually, often, or always be executed?
I'd gripe about the scare quotes, but since the Powell doctrine is often ignored... fair.
You'd need to smash out the window, remove the hood and hold the cards in your teeth to do these three things.
And obviously you would drive like crap this way.
Might explain the messed up hand though.
How... sinister.
Gotta confess, I did originally try a bit too hard to see if there was an ending which replaces Mr. House and his Securitrons with Dr. Mobius and his Robo-scorpions.
If you take the administration at face value on this, why did Trump want the Panama Canal?
Bananas? Hats? Van Halen fandom?
Nuts.
Thus closing the loop. As prophecy foretells.
Currently listening to a Gormenghast opera I only looked for and found because of this post.Neat!

When I worked for a toy crane company, I'd tell people the only "trick" was to play nothing but the gumball machine - because you'd always get a gumball.
Didn't work though. Seemed like the more wacked the reason they thought a machine was "rigged", the more they thought they knew how to beat it.
And holy crap, there is a Gormenghast krautrock opera from Irmin Shmidt - thanks for the tip!
Don't think I would have found that otherwise.
From this album, The Raven or Fall of the House of Usher might be the moody synthest, Cask of Amontillado or The Tell Tale Heart might be my favorites though.
Maybe "moisture farmer" just sounds more dignified than "jerky master".
Gotta be meat right? So many giant animals. Banthas, dewbacks, womp rats, sarlaccs - like, *all the giant animals.
Crates of Krayts.
and that Ray Charles bit. Oh yes.
Sometimes wonder if the old, full 1927 Metropolis would have been found without this and/or the Giorgio Moroder version.
Looks like a nice little harvest of soundbites for ads already.
I think the theory is that it won't pass - at least not for a long time.
If so, I could see the Reps (and Newsom, from the article) more likely to get the blame.

Also, team soda.
You "pop" and "coke" people sound weird to me.
Accents talk combining with Cold War songs talk:
As someone with a (supposedly) GenAm accent, why do I *hear* the refrain of Games Without Frontiers as "She's so popular" and not "Jeux sans frontieres"?
Do I unconsciously assume English accents (Gabriel or Bush) are always speaking English?
My favorite will always be "terriers and bariffs".
And he was a good sport about it.
"Anyone can give you a coherent sentence, but something like this takes you into an entirely new dimension."
So not an ayatollah, but aye, a toll eh?
It's like watching an egg salad sandwich decompose.

Between this song, Land of Confusion, and Spitting Image puppets in general, it's funky how much Chris Barrie was the voice of Ronald Reagan in the 80s.
Reagan = Zimmer from Red Dwarf just gave me a laugh.
It's got flow.
New dysentery just dropped.
It was excellent work.
I hadn't thought about desalination plants getting targeted before. With plants (reportedly) hit in Bahrain and Iran I might be fixating on it too much.
For now, my don't-know-much-of-anything butt is filing it under "not good".
I think the Reuters story about South Korea imposing fuel price caps may be real though.
