Hard to describe this as anything other than a โbottle jobโ. Lack of quality up front but we also lost our nerve that 2nd half, was so obvious to see.
Having lots of options is not having the best squad in the league. Iโd trade Gyokeres, Jesus and Martinelli for one elite attacker.

Not much to go by there. Kill it early and see it out, job done. Nice bit of rest for some players but itโs all about Wolves & Spurs this week.

The difference between the Carabao Cup 3rd round to now is crazy. That 3rd round is whatever, not too fussed if we crashed out. Now, I am dying to win tonight. Walking out at Wembley in a final would be amazing! Prem is there for us, but a couple other trophies too, nothing like a cup final day.

Almost nothing to gain from that. Nice to see Havertz back but the real response to Sunday will be against Leeds Saturday. Leaky defence at Arsenal all of a sudden.
That being said 8 out of 8 is superb work. Should get to the latter stages of this competition and then who knows.

I get that Iโve done the same. From TV it felt like really early on at the slightest wobble the crowd lost their bottle a bit. We controlled the game for the first 30mins conceded and lost our way, it turned so quick. Felt uncomfortable - everyone super tense and itโs only Jan!

I hate the bottle narrative, I always think itโs deeper than that but today itโs hard to see past it.
Couldnโt have gone any worse. We lost the match twice. City will see that and be inspired.
Home games are really uncomfortable now. Whole stadium lost their arse on 35 mins.
We were the better team - considerably - for the first 35 minutes until we made a mistake then wobbled for a bit.
Our fans have completely lost their heads here. A couple of misplaced passes or heavy touches and the whole stadium moaning & groaning.
Actually embarrassing and awkward to watch.

Had the privilege to watch the match on Saturday at the Arsenal bar in Mexico City. Met some proper cool, passionate Gonners out there! If youโre in CDMX make sure you head there for a match!
My take is actually that was fine, they had NOTHING and we had more than enough chances to get a goal. Bad day at the office with finishing but if you told me weโd extend by a point yesterday Iโd take it. Especially considering we wasted 60 minutes with Gyokeres up front.
