I agree. The people I follow, out of real interest, are still on X. I feel I am talking to myself here, so I drift away from it. The trouble is, I don't like X because of who owns it. I'm wondering if SM is now going to splinter and morph into something different.
Christmas Greetings to all in the Orthodox Church, wherever you are in the world. May the coming year be peaceful and harmonious for you. #Orthodox #church #Christmas #greetings
It's now not just Epiphany, but time to bring out one of my favourite poems. Now the Work of Christmas Begins..

Good morning all.π I hope everyone who is now returning back to work has a good start to the year. β¨
A great time to make peace with your past and move forward with hope and joy. #Epiphany #MentalHealth
And so, I bid you all goodnight, not from Cumbria, but now in Canterbury for a short break. As we move from Christmas to Epiphany, here is a rather chilly night shot of the cathedral. #Sunday #cathedral #Church
I love the peaceful little churches dotted around the Cumbrian countryside. Top of my list is Wythburn church, built in 1640 and later restored in 1872. The bee-hive apse is a lovely feature. As with many churches in Cumbria, it's open most days. #cumbria #historicchurch #England #sunday #church
ER post box with a nice large white label pointing out it's a post box - in the wall of Hesket Newmarket Community Shop & Post Office, which the locals are fighting against the closure of. hesketnewmarket-communityshop.co.uk #Cumbria #postboxsaturday

It may be cold outside, but spring has arrived on the small window edge next to my desk. A few plants and forced bulbs, bought locally, make all the difference. #indoor #winter #garden #cumbria
It's evening now, so, time to put my feet up & listen to my favourite radio programme: BBC Radio 4's GQT. A radio institution that's been dispensing horticultural advice since 1947.
Broadcast at Fri 3pm & Sun 2pm (or on BBC Sounds).
Proof the BBC gets some things right. #radio #garden #bbc
Hello from a dull, damp #Cumbria. Cheered up by colourful plants on the window ledgeπΊ still growing well, despite all the rain. Yes, the heather is painted pink & while; no, I really don't care, anything to get some colour (that is not red) in the winterπΎ #planter #plants #garden #outdoorliving

If you have neighbours, start playing the music now, but at a low volume. Then turn the volume up a bit each day. So, you can enjoy it without driving the neigbours mad and you possibly being in hospital by the big day!

In keeping with tradition, I have a Poinsettia in my cottage (but pink rather than the more usual red).
Given that it's native to Mexico, poinsettias have become an iconic symbol of Christmas. #december #christmas #flower #indoor #plant
I look forward to putting my feet up with a glass (or two) of wine, later today, and this. Thank youπ

My take on a #container #garden. 3 mini succulents, cactus compost, a few small stones to decorate, a bowl and a plate from the ricebyrice.com/collections/... collection. And hey presto, an instant cactus garden. #indoor #plant
Last week I visited the RHS Harlow Carr,
went into the Alpine House & saw some amazing plants. Top of my favourites-list is this imaginative arrangement of Sempervivums with a wonderful use of rocks. #plants #Alpine #garden #containers #indoorgarden
