I had this issue and fixed it by turning off the sleep mode. Now TV starting time is a bit longer, but all apps are restarted and this fixed the crashing for me.
Maybe Google engineers do not test on vendor hardware and Vendor engineers do not test the software 😅
I like Tizen, if you turn it off while watching YT, next time it will continue where you left off.
