Duly noted. Unrelatedly, I have a sudden urge to go buy a Picnic bar, I don't want to miss out
I like to think of the original 2013 PUP as the Velvet Underground of Australian politics - being involved with PUP was apparently so affecting it inspired every member elected to go on to start their own party (the Jacqui Lambie Network, the Glenn Lazarus Team, the Dio Wang Experience...)
The CLT is never late, nor is it early; it arrives precisely when it means to
Maybe they're trying to tiptoe around the fact that clearly Charmander and Squirtle are not on board for this project.
i'm looking to talk to any australian pokemon fans for a piece i'm writing for guardian aus, especially anyone with memories of the first wave of Pokemania in Australia.

It's amazing how trying to explain childrens' TV shows from decades ago makes one sound ridiculous: "For a long time, he was the main star of a show called 'Wombat' - oh, but he wasn't supposed to be a wombat, oh no, he was more of a licentious cut-price Muppet. It was the most popular thing on TV."
Wow, those views!

The first official reference to them as siblings was in a 2008 Sunday strip by Hy Eisman. Prior, it was said they were twins in a comic by Ocean Comics, but it was licensed and non canon. The British week comic TV Comics had Brutus as Bluto's cousin, but again non-canon.
Oh no, that is a terrible, confusing practice, especially in an educational context, where there's absolutely no guarantee that the students will pick up on what you meant to depict.
This is a really neat approximation method! Thanks Howie!

Great post, thanks for going through the new functions with clear, neat examples - you've demonstrated to me how useful recode_values() and replace_values() are going to be!
