I find it hilarious that The Family befriended the two Actual Terrorists who were Trying To Kill Them Specifically in the two previous movies. But the family must grow.

Fast and Furious 6 happened, it has an absurdly long runway and Toretto Side B but is otherwise unremarkable. Furious 7 happens and it's got a really nice tribute to Paul Walker.

Fate of the Furious is peak cinema. It may even have more cars than 2 Fast 2 Furious.

その雀で間違いなければ２回目の冬越し中で、寿命を考えると雀の世界では猛者に入るうちの一羽だと思います。

I watched fast 5 like two weeks ago and forgot to talk about it, it was pretty great. I'd say the ridiculousness of the car action rivals 2 fast 2 furious, but in retrospect I don't think its as great as 2 as a whole. Still definitely a top movie in the franchise. Also The Rock is there
