As if that wasn't bad enough, last night Abeer's friend Hanaa Aql was killed along with her children, Batoul and Mohammed, and her husband Zaid. Their home was reduced to rubble. "We buried them and left the place, my heart torn to pieces," said Abeer.
On Oct 19, Abeer’s uncle Hassan Washah’s house in Al-Bureij Camp was targeted by two F-16 missiles, completely destroying the home over its residents. The bombing killed nine children and four adults. Abeer is heartbroken. Her uncle needs help purchasing essentials.

Thanks to a generous donor, Abeer obtained a solar panel so she has solved the problem of charging and lighting. She was also able to get a room from her neighbor in exchange for providing light. While that is good news, Abeer and her family continue to struggle to survive under harsh conditions.
