This librarian agrees. I read 5 audiobooks for every print book I've read this year. Books have stories, we need stories. It doesn't matter how we ingest them. They make us better people.

I used to say this as a joke when I was still working in a public library, "We have books too!" Because I was seeing exactly what you're talking about. My library director started rejecting any children's programming I planned that was literature based. Why I don't work there anymore.
