Seems like that would be a 6-8 month+ recovery. And since he doesn’t have that much time left on the deal, I guess if he can play through it and manage it, then I guess it’s a plus. Especially if he can play for 100+ games and give the kind of production he gave last year.

The recovery timetable for elbow surgery would have been 3-4 months. Has anyone asked why Stanton didn't have it in October or the offseason?
