Depends on what "profficient" and "weapon" means. Serenais is a very capable red mage, so, in that aspect, rapier; however, in terms of fencing, far less so. She is also trained with sword and a shield, and she has sufficient training with sage nouliths for battlefield first aid.
Serenais is profficient with the sage nouliths, meaning, she knows how to use them. With that came some basic medical training - mostly, to know where and how to perform the basic healing using the nouliths in order to get a wounded stable and capable of transport. Not much past that.
Serenais quite enjoys the snow.
And the wind doesn't blow under the snow layer. x)

Before Serenais became the WoL, she worked as an aetherologist at the Studium. The Forum recognises that having the WoL in good graces is not a bad idea, so, she is officially still employed there (and thus, on the Forum's payroll), even if she rarely visits the Studium's premises nowadays.
