I am sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mahmoud. Mahmoud and his wife Duaa were language teachers before the war started and Duaa was 2 months pregnant with Adam. Since then they have lost their home, been displaced 4 times and Duaa gave birth in very unsanitary conditions.

if anybody in seattle is looking for something to donate time or money to, the ROOTS young adult shelter is an important resource for young people experiencing homelessness in the U District. my sister worked there for a long time and they do good work around both temp shelter + providing resources
