Example of what to do in the AppHost of the aspire project.
var keycloak = builder.AddKeycloak("keycloak", 8080)

I recently upgraded to a M4 macbook pro on MacOS 15.2. I ran into an issue with running Keycloak locally in my .Net Aspire project. There are issues running Java processes in docker.
Adding a JVM option -XX:UseSVE=0 is a temporary workaround.

Then because it might take longer and is more complex, people tend to think that's how all version upgrades are. The teams then have to fight that perception battle to try and do the incremental upgrades.
Exactly this. What ends up happening is you let certain code bases stagnate because you don't "need" to upgrade, then there isn't a clear upgrade path and you have to roll forward through each version upgrade anyway because jumping 4 major versions is a nightmare. So you end up doing it anyway.
Great read, I highly recommend.
I'm looking forward to using Microsoft.Extensions.AI. It's exactly what I've been looking forward to for some side projects.
This is one of the BIG advancements we made to the GC in .NET 9.
Really exciting to see what .Net 9 has done with Microsoft.Extensions.AI. Makes the barrier to entry so much lower.

If you have a pi collecting dust I will pay for you to ship it to me
I print cases, get sd cards, and power supplies and give them away to people who are learning
Iβd like to get a bunch ready for @socallinuxexpo.bsky.social where thereβs lots of kids
Me anytime I have to deal with node and npm.
If you use Rider and want to try out the .Net Aspire starter app template, know that this bug exists. Create it from the cli instead of the Rider UI. Hopefully I saved you an hour of your life wondering what you did wrong.
Loving Aspire so far though.

It's crazy to me how in ~75 lines of code, I can have a RAG app up and running. 5 years of D&D notes and recaps just got easy to search and get information from. I guess I don't have an excuse to not know what happened in the last 123 sessions.
Temperature is just about perfect though π€
