Today is the Dunblane anniversary.

Snowdrops were the only spring flowers blooming in the town at the time of the tragedy (which killed 16 children and their teacher). Locals and bereaved families quickly adopted them as a symbol of hope, resilience and sorrow. (Watercolour by my wife- copyright)
