Well that’s bs by them as they would of has paint in store for repairs, best I can recommend is paint sample cards and heading to Stephenson railway museum as they have a train and seeing if you can match it

You might be able to email nexus and and ask them what colour it is? With these ones being withdrawn from service they may actually be able to give you some that they had in stores

Mine had a loose motor… was within warranty so got a replacement and got to keep the faulty one… which was easy to fix
