Had a clear night to work on gear. The Astro-Tech 152 triplet is just a bit too heavy for the EQ6r-Pro

Sun captured 5-3-2025 with sunspot AR4079

Giant sunspot and a tornado. Captured with a LUNT 40mm Ha telescope on 5-3-2025. Processed with the Solar Suite in Pixinsight. The sunspot was visible unaided eye with solar glasses.

Moon from the old ASI071 camera in 2021 Autostakeret 4, Astrosurface for wavelets, and some light curve adjustments in Pixinsight.

I've used a lot of the QHY stuff and no big complaints. Now I am interested in this camera as I have a 24" dob this would work nicely with. Astrobin has a user with a Celestron 8 and this camera, here app.astrobin.com/equipment/ex...

You were looking for a colour camera with a global shutter on this live stream. The only one I know for wide available sale is the QHY 5-III 568C. 400 bux. I've never used one of these or this sensor so not sure if it is good for your purpose or not.

PLayerOne is legit. Great service, same CMOS chip as ZWO/QHY. Get their driver stack and install it before connecting the camera to your laptop/PC.
