When you save a chicken's life you become responsible for it. And since chickens are apparently so fond of crossing roads, this is a stressful responsibility.
Anyway, today's chicken check: they're fine.

I had drinks once with an attorney, who was gobsmacked that I, a waitress, answered more of our cocktail napkin trivia questions correctly than he did. Shocked. He kept bringing out more napkins and quizzing me. The trend continued.
We left in separate cabs.
This meeting could have been a cocktail napkin.
Me too!!!!
Also these are beautiful photos. :)
Puma sneakers with a black and white design
I got these yesterday because I need good touristing shoes for an upcoming trip. But I sort of wish I went with color.
Ooh! Those are fantastic. Good choice!
I love this idea! Yesterday I came close to ordering red sneakers but I didn't and now I regret it.
Bright green grasses and 2 dogs digging for a mole they are unlikely to reach
It's a pretty nice day today, I guess.
Still grouchy.
Also, please know, this hill is steep. And humbling.
A paved country road with grasses and charming trees. There aren't any brigands, or ne'r do wells, and my dad can't walk with me anymore.
I used to walk and run up this road with my dad when we were training for hills. It was gravel and deep forest and it always scared the hell out of me when I came up alone.
Today only the cars were scary, and the way my legs were wimpering. There are mansions, but no sidewalk.
On a scale of one to Molly Ringwaldβs prom dress, how disappointed were you?
This looks like a great garden for exploring and relaxing. I love how the water features connect it all together and also give places to pause and enjoy. Super cool.

Me too. Tears are just under the surface today, ready for the smallest little thing to open the gates.
A section of turquoise swimming pool with tall trees and a small moon reflected in it
Hide and seek with the Moon this morning
What if there was a little bird hopping around
Sky and trees reflected in a canal and insects are buzzing and birds sound like gossipy ladies
My face in sunglasses and I'm smiling without teeth so I don't accidentally inhale an insect
Truly beautiful day
Watching the sunset is like getting a forehead kiss from the sky.
Look at all of us. Ungartered, uncorseted, mad with freedom.
Maybe everyone knows this one already but: originally painted with one of the dress straps falling down and people freaked
The edge of a pool (not mine) and a forest, field, sun rise and last vestige of moon
I will concede that it looks like the weather will be pleasant today
The sun is below the trees and I'm grumpy but the sky is pale blue and by tonight maybe this won't all, all, look so bleak

βOh, Paul, why so wonderful?β
And other things you announce in your kitchen to yourself when you feel youβve made a damn fine cup of coffee. Damn fine.
The tip of my head and a barbie pink camelia and the sky is blue and the sun feels like heaven
taking advantage of all this saved daylight
Tall people love daylight savings because they can show off how easy it is for them to reach wall clocks.
I don't care for this New Eight; I'm staying in bed until Eight Classic.
Yes! Not snowed in is fantastic!
I'm beginning to think Americans aren't exceptional.
Bright green grass, black dog, brown shed, metal barn roof. Trees. Always trees.
Warming up in the sun
The birthday song is not something to enjoy but rather a thing to be endured with the promise of cake and presents at its conclusion.
