Yes, no asking people to abandon City entirely (it's our club after all, not there's), but there's really no excuse for not being informed and talking about it. Even small actions like not buying food and drink in the ground, anything.
Absolutely it does. If we accept the trophies then we have a responsibility to call this out as well. Anything else is cowardice and hypocrisy.
The chairman of Manchester City FC and everyone in Abu Dhabi who is involved with the 'Board of Peace' is a disgrace. Eternal, everlasting shame on them all.

You know what I mean
Football needs a more consistent social conscience. Pep is imperfect, as we all are, but he's also currently the only messenger of his global standing in the league/game continuingly talking about this stuff.
Other managers and players need pushing to speak too.
It's easy to have a go at Pep's hypocrisy with the Abu Dhabi links, but he's clearly judged it's more valuable for him to speak out and face pelters than say nothing, so he takes the pelters.
Until one of the other 19 PL managers speaks out, he's the best anyone has. A good man.

yep. gross, but not surprising when you consider what's gone on in south sudan, and yemen, and cuts to palestinian aid, etc, etc. all stroke of a pen stuff by the very same people who sit atop our football club. far, faaar too many looking the other way, it's about time we said it.
