Misleading headline on guardian story about G7
This headline is incorrect. You don’t snub a meeting. A snub is a deliberate act against an individual or a group. It could be argued that he’s snubbing the rest of the G7 but to single out Albo is lazy parochial nonsense.
Hypothetical but would Bob Hawke have publicly condemned the appalling behaviour of Netanyahu and his cabal? I say ‘yes’ because I know he was privately very critical of the Israeli right. The silence of the Labor Government is disgraceful and beyond perplexing
