So much of biological science is trying to squeeze as much learning as possible out of a very small amount of raw experimental data -- because making that data is insanely expensive. We're hitting the limits of that approach -- this is why drug 🧵
It’s been a tough few weeks. My 10yo daughter was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive cancer called interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS). I’m reaching out to identify clinicians/patients who have encountered pediatric IDCS or other (non-LCH) dendritic or histiocytic sarcomas cases.

At ginkgo we bought Zymergen because they had by far the best modular integrated automation on the market. Both hardware and software. We had been keeping it to ourselves but I’m selling it now. Check it out here if you want to build an automation core
