Off contract doesn't mean off the show. Stop listening to the people who sold you the lie he was leaving soon. For example, Josh Kelly (Cody) has been off contract since last summer and he's not going anywhere either

That took a few tries to pause it at the right time. I didn't want to do the easy thing and save it and look at the frames that way lol
But no memory of that time = it doesn't count for him. As far as everyone is concerned he got shot and "died" in a hospital bed with Maxie by his side then woke up "the next day" like nothing else happened. Less than 6 months later he's fine with moving on with Lulu 🤷
