Opinion | There are two winners in Iran. Neither one is America. Oil disruption benefits Russia, as does less U.S. aid for Ukraine. And Iran distracts from China.

It’s too soon to tell who will win the war between the United States and Iran. But, at this point, my money would be on Russia and China. wapo.st/4ui9QzJ

This is nonsense.

In 1976, studies showed that less than 40% of jobs in America paid enough to support a family of four on their own.

Honored, and truly moved, to speak at the Obama Center tonight!
Our collective job today is to bend the moral arc of the universe towards justice.
That doesn’t happen alone, and without true work, sweat and sacrifice.

But, together, WE can, and must, do that!
We the people
We shall overcome
We…

Opinion | Why America needs evangelicals on the Supreme Court — and more The lack of evangelical Christians at America’s most prestigious institutions fuels mistrust.

Sorry, you don’t get it both ways, people like this wanted an end to affirmative action. You can’t do that and then beg for participation trophies because evangelicals like to cosplay as an oppressed minority.

There is no one more resolute and optimistic than a
modern Texas Democrat.
When I tell people who know my politics that I live in
Texas, they sometimes say, "I'm sorry."
I'm not.
There are reasons to leave, and if you're reading this, you
probably know them (abortion access, voting rights, guns,
climate change...). If I had a trans child, I would try to move.
But for most of us, leaving is neither an option (jobs, family,
the housing market) nor that appealing. We have work to
do. That work is paying off, too. This year, Democrats
fielded a candidate in every state and federal race on the
Texas ballot, the first time in modern history that either
party has done so.

Once an upon a time, I wanted to work in foreign policy, and wrote my undergrad thesis on Pakistan’s nuclear security, using a lot of open sources.

The point being, that this kind of info is readily available, you just have to do the legwork.

Abject negligence leading to a clear war crime.
