The guy had his positives:
- Captain with the π Second Field Engineer Regiment;
- Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus;
- One of the original organizers of archery at the BogenschΓΌtzenfest;
- Member of the Royal Canadian Legion;
- Volunteered doing pastoral care at the hospital.
I wasn't happy with him these past few years, but he's still my grandpa. He's still the guy who would sneak me Hershey's kisses and toffees when I visited. The guy who would set up Hot Wheel tracks or a train set in the basement when I tired of dolls.
Hell, He taught me how to shoot a bow.
Hm. Phoning Nan to wish her happy birthday is NOT how I expected to learn my grandfather (Papa's dad) died over a week ago.
Mom volunteered to "notify" me, to take a bit of the stress off Nan.
She sent a single SMS. To a group chat. No followup.
I've already missed the funeral. Mixed feelings.

Despite (or in spite of) her interjection, he continues with a suggestive: "I plan ta keep it busy instead." A scolding and disgusted "Davie." is the human's only reply, rather done with his behavior.

Okay, with that posted now I can get back to figuring out this Doodle Drive and how it's gonna work.
This isn't exactly how I expected to get back into digital art, but I'm gonna make it work anxiety be damned. I always feel uncomfortable if I can't give *something* in return, lol.
If it were just me I'd probably be more stubborn, but I have a growing 13 y/o and watching her live mostly on cheap noodles and tea these past few weeks is breaking me down.
She's a smart kid; She knows when something is going on. But goddammit she's too young to have to worry about this stuff. :(

Do you ever feel like you're on the edge of a complete breakdown, but not close enough to the edge for the anxiety and dread to kick in?
To lock your camera on PC, the default button is NUM5 (numpad). On controller, I *think* it's L3 (pressing in left joystick).
So turns out if you target-lock an NPC and toggle autorun, the camera-lock forces a poor-man's "follow" command.
