That's hysterical! 🤪
Why would it do that? They're scared of people. Was it rabid? Were the people harassing it or threatening its pups? It may have had some this time of year.
Trump is trying to get rid of the Endangered Species Act. Here is how you can comment: Here is how you comment on the proposed rule: public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2025-06746.pdf
Ha, and here I thought that when I lived in Tucson and found a lizard in my house I thought I had a problem.
Ho hum, just another day in #Florida ...oh, and a guy found a gator in his living room and said, "Oh, crap." www.clickorlando.com/news/florida...
In Brooklyn, the "slums" were called slums because of the physical condition the buildings were in. It was not a definition of the people who lived there. It was a definition of the physical environment, which did indeed look pretty slummy. It is not a racist remark or white supremacy at all.
It's not a "white supremacist" statement. It's a statement of reality. The poor areas of large cities were called "slums" or "ghettos." But the word "ghetto" actually means a neighborhood where immigrants moved into neighborhoods with others from the same place they had come, to maintain ties.
This doesn't indicate they are racists. In many cities there are black people living in poor communities ("ghettos"). They were mostly segregated areas. It's a stereotype, but it's also reality-based. I grew up in Brooklyn. There really was a downtown area where many blacks lived, "the slums."
A photo of two cats, Mjolnir - a tortoiseshell, and Gabe - a tabby, cuddled together cheek-to-cheek.
Gabe and Mjolnir need a new home, can you help?
Rowan, their human who has sadly passed, wished for them to remain together.
Will help get them relocated to anywhere within the United States; please read on for more details! 🧵

Do you feel like you're living in a comic book?

I think Putin owns Trump.
That's not reality. That's insane. It will help if SCOTUS tells him it's not, though he won't like it.
This is quite misleading. DEI was a policy enacted by President Biden. Removal of it by Trump does not prevent Target or any other business from having a DEI policy of their own. Nor does not having one change the legal rights of people under current federal and state civil rights laws.
This small country is incredible. Their goal is about Gross National Happiness. They're building a new city, Mindfulness City, to serve the needs of people and the natural world, as they have always done. They are evidence of the best of humanity in my opinion.

I think Trump wants a world where the US is allies with Russia, China, Iran and North Korea. Yuck.
We have a Scottish festival every year in Estes Park and people dress in kilts and play bagpipes. One year someone blew up a huge Loch Ness monster balloon in Lake Estes. Some elk who went swimming in the Lake found it most interesting.
In this topsy turvy world violent people who beat up police officers get pardoned and an agency that helps save lives gets accused of being a criminal organization for doing so, while a man who has committed 34 felonies is elected president of the United States.

SCOTUS said he has to be acting in his capacity of president to justify his conduct. Commiting felonies and assaulting women in his private life and with his private business is not him acting in the capacity of president. SCOTUS did not make Trump a king.
The first rule of nature is survival. By protecting surrounding trees the group increases their chances of survival. This doesn't mean the trees are "altruistic." It may simply mean they are generically programmed for survival, just like plants that grow towards sunlight.
The countries who have it also have citizens willing to pay approx 40% of their income in taxes to pay for it. The U.S. does not have people willing to pay more in taxes. That's why we don't have it here. It was tried and rejected by the voters in Vermont and Colorado.
