Would never happen. Maybe 8-12 years from now but Socialism is still a non starter for most voting Americans. They'd also find the same restraints the fascist are presently facing with the courts. Neither ideology works without authoritarianism. Would they behave like Trump in ignoring the courts?
Americans wanting cheap consumer goods made in the United States by many workers getting paid high wages is similar to Americans wanting increased government benefits, decreased taxes, and a balanced federal budget all at the same time.

I pray for reconciliation down the road. I've talked with young priest in both TEC and ACNA hope and pray for reconciliation. I know there is still some open wounds with older folks who lived through the breakup. Perhaps time will heal those wounds.
I feel you here. I spent years trying to belong to a church that didn't even notice or care when I was sick and unable to attend. My Muslim friend checked in on me though. Now I am really about visiting and checking in on shut ins. It's so immensely lonely to be sick and feeling abandoned.
