Hmm, would you look at that...
Pete Hegseth cut offices that could have helped prevent the US strike that killed 160 children in Iran.

But what does it matter as long as preliminary reports allow the White House to promote a false narrative?
Because you can bet your ass that MAGA isn't paying heed to these warning signs.
Republicans have the audacity to accuse Biden and his appointees of "manipulating" data and distorting statistics when it appears that the Trump administration has been putting out padded data that is later revised to expose the systemic economic issues that Trump has failed to address.
Remember also that jobs figures for 2025 were also revised HEAVILY downward, showing negative job growth and five months of job losses.
For perspective, under Biden we saw four straight years and 47 months of job GROWTH.
...a recipe for growing wealth and income inequality, and almost certainly for rising costs.
Remember that the Trump admin has fired labor secretaries, statisticians, and department heads responsible for reporting economic data; replacing them with MAGA loyalists willing to do Trump's bidding.
Combine this with recent reports showing further economic slowdown and persistent inflation, and the fact that the war in Iran is causing market shocks, global trade disruptions and surging oil prices, and you've got yourself a recipe for an economic crisis.
TRUMP'S ECONOMY:
Fourth quarter GDP figures were just revised DOWNWARD, with little acknowledgement from the White House and Trump supporters.
CORE INFLATION was also adjusted to reflect a rise in prices.
Oil prices continue to rise despite Trump's desperate efforts to shape public opinion and investor sentiment by lying through his teeth and contradicting himself one moment to the next.

FBI obtains voting data from Arizona GOP’s 2020 review that confirmed Trump’s loss:
Trump and MAGA are STILL obsessing over his humiliating and well deserved defeat in 2020.
The administration's efforts to prolong this are being undermined BY FACTS.
The IRONY of the government calling Anthropic a national security risk for refusing to allow the government to use their technology for mass surveillance systems...
48 straight months of job growth under Joe Biden.
Trump enters office and after 1 year we get 5 months of job losses...
The "golden age" of America!
Negative job growth, economic slowdown, persistent inflation, sharply rising oil prices, markets plummeting, global trade disruptions, unemployment ticking up, illegal tariffs and trade wars, and peak income and wealth inequality.
You tired of all the "winning" yet?
TRUMP'S TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH HAVE DEEPENED OUR COUNTRY'S ECONOMIC DIVIDE.
New reporting shows that Trump's tax cuts for the rich and corporations have caused the top 1% of stock owners and investors to own more wealth and assets than the bottom 99%.
Keep in mind that Kristi Noem wasn't fired because she's incompetent, unqualified, and cruel.
She was fired because she embarrassed Trump in a televised hearing.
THE LATEST POLLS ARE IN.
And guess what? A majority of Americans still overwhelmingly oppose this war... Shocker!
Republicans still remain the outlier. Supporting another needless foreign war for the sake of ideological purity with Trump.
Trump spent less than 2 minutes discussing Iran during his State of the Union address.
You won't see the White House, nor MAGA reporting on the latest jobs/unemployment figures.
This graph reveals that under Trump, 2025 was one of the worst years for job creation/gains, and 2026 ain't off to a great start either with 92,000 jobs lost in February and the unemployment rate ticking up.
And just like that, Trump has converted his diehard base from staunch "America first" non-interventionists into full throated advocates of US imperialism and foreign wars.

A majority of Americans do not support this war. Senate Republicans just voted to ignore that majority:
Why is the GOP pouring so much money into these Texas elections?
They're scared.
Dems just won a state election in Texas despite being massively out funded.
Republicans have been trying to unilaterally redraw maps because they're terrified of losing power.
All signs point to a party in fear.
Early voting democratic turnout in Texas was MASSIVE!
THIS is why Republicans want to eliminate early voting.
Almost every election related law, regulation, voting measure, legal challenge that Republicans promote make it MORE challenging and meticulous for Americans to vote.
Think about it.
For all of their crying about "the radical left" indoctrinating, even "grooming" children and students, they revel in their own hypocrisy.
One goal of this administration and its Christian nationalist backers is to implement a faith based curriculum and rule of law. To try to radicalize the insufficiently "patriotic" among us with white nationalist, religious propaganda.
The same goes for all the innocent lives loss so far as a result of this expanding conflict.
In regards to the strike in Minab that hit a girls' elementary school and claimed the lives of nearly 200 children—there's no independent confirmation of where this strike came from, but the fact remains, it would never have happened if Trump and Netanyahu hadn't launched this war to begin with.
Regime change is a proven absolute failure.

To the vocal minority of MAGA fanatics/Trump loyalists who support this unnecessary war:
The data show that only 21% of Americans support Trump's decision to go to war.
Polls reveal just 27% of US adults support attacking Iran and more Americans disapprove of Trump's handling of the situation.
Not to mention how his policies have made life for veterans here at home increasingly more challenging.
Sensible Americans will tell you that Trump couldn't care less about the cost, the death toll and the rippling repercussions of this unnecessary war.
Made even more evident by the fact that Trump has never shown genuine sympathy for our troops and veterans; even insulting our fallen soldiers.
