Doing 'deep' work on maternity leave is a peculiar vision of a peculiar life. It takes so much organisation (childcare), carving out of moments, and battling with the foggy layers of sleep deprivation. Is this how working will be in the next phase? Who knows.

Attempting to strip someone of citizenship is always a transparent and hopeless effort to avoid responsibility for the underlying problem you claim to object to. Their citizenship is *why* they can be held accountable for the actions you object to.

For personal reasons (🐣), I’ve not been following recent Moldovan politics enough to comment more than yey PAS / Maia. But, I can comment just how much more coverage these elections and Moldova as a result are getting. Moldova’s visibility right now (and the reasons) is something worth observing.

Moldova has voted: PAS wins with 50.15%, beating the polls despite Russian interference.

The people chose a pro-EU, reform path. Meanwhile, the pro-Russian Patriotic Bloc (24%) calls for protests. PAS must now deliver reforms & lead Moldova toward EU accession.

The mental and admin load expected on new mothers (knee deep in stitches and waist high in sleep deprivation) is wild and the bureaucratic push back from the NHS is even more wild. Want your partner’s number on baby’s details? They’ll remove it. Want your partner to register at a GP? They can’t.
