I think one of the things that I highly dislike about AI upscaling is that they often look like the scene is made with watercolors or like its wax melting. I like the crisp visuals by cleaning up the visual artifacts, but I wish it'd not cause things to "bleed" into each other.
I long and hope for an era where profit is no longer a motivation. I want more people to create in order to create, to help each other, to uplift and strengthen our connections as the Human race. I want the innovation of AI to lead to the expansion of creativity, not the exploitation of it.
I see both sides of AI in the Creative industry. I see its possible uses to give access to those less fortunate (those unable to finance or create themselves) to higher quality media to tell their stories. I also see the threat to an already difficult medium to make profitable.

The thing that has been torturing me lately is the possibility of consciousness just ceasing at the end of life. It keeps terrifying me and sending me into panic attacks. I scream out and cry some days because of how terrified I've become. I used to not be afraid but now it haunts me every day...
I've been fighting anxiety and panic attacks for a few days now. It is getting pretty exhausting but I don't really know what to do. They always stem from existential crisis, and it is difficult to use normal anti-anxiety methods against the fear of the unknown. Trying my best.
I have arrived and I already feel like I'm trying to avoid being shoved inside a locker. Ah, it makes me feel young again.
