Chiaki is a high scoring student from the Mossdeep Space Academy in Hoenn. She has a deep interest in Mega Stones ever since she was given a Glalitite as a child to hold on to. She grew up believing that the future is never decided for you and that you should tackle whatever comes your way with equally as much force. That positive outlook is what kept her afloat. Her parents were very invested in their jobs as researchers and never had time for her. Whenever they did it was all about grades and about becoming the next great researcher. They worked for Devon researching Infinity Energy and Chiaki hated that they were always away from her when she was on her time off. So much so that she directed all her hate to one man in particular, Steven Stone. Since he was the most recognized figure within Devon, she devoted herself to learning about the Steel type and devising plans to humiliate him in battle by winning with a team of only Ice types and other pokemon she liked. She would tell horrible Pokémon puns as a way to keep her mind off of focusing on that though. In battle, she can resonate with Ki-Ki to become a PokeMorpher. She takes on the form of the yuki-onna and wields ice powers such as changing the terrain to ice, creating ice shards or casting Hail. And that's all about Chiaki. Before it's mentioned, yes, just like Akemi and Ishin, Chiaki deals with gifted child syndrome in a different way. This time it's through the coping mechanism of jokes to lessen the pressure so that she doesn't crack under it.

Chiaki hails from Mosdeep City and is deeply interested in the secrets behind Mega Evolution. Her and her partner Ki-Ki the Snorunt ran away from home to go on an adventure in Johto, the setting of our campaign that is currently on hold.
