I take the complete opposite approach to sci-fi as historicals. With sci-fi it's a case of deciding what you want to include in terms of rules, figures, scenery etc. Then think of an explanation for them to be there.

Time was the reason for going with papercraft terrain. I'm not committed enough to sci-fi to want to paint a load of terrain for it.

Sci-fi is my stand-in for WW2 and modern. Saves having to do quite so many different figures for different theatres.

Just perspective then by the looks of it. This is where we are now. We're so used to looking for AI mistakes in images, we start finding them in genuine ones.

A lot of them use AI for detection, so I guess it's the blind leading the stupid. I'm a bit behind fact-check world, someone like Bellingcat will be up to speed with AI detectors I would think.
