Thank you! It was really disappointing that there was no real information about them. The Gallery seemed in a state of maintenance as a lot of the audio visual stuff was switched off but that aside it’s an awesome museum!

Today I finally saw the Settinsham Horde at Norwich Castle but unfortunately the legend telling you what each one was was not there. @tessmachling.bsky.social can you give me a clue what these are please.

Elm Hill sounds good for sending the Two barbarians off to whilst I wander round the Castle. Hopefully it will be a little less Squirrel populated then the lower Cadtle Park was today. Benny Dog went nuts! 😆 And I’d already considered the Cathedral - I collect Cathedrals!

So that’s Colchester Castle done. Tomorrow we’re heading to Norwich. Any recommendations on places to visit @theduncanmackay.bsky.social I’ve got Norwich Castle on the list.

Finally ticked Colchester Castle off my bucket list. Didn’t get to the Circus as it was a bit cold and drizzly and my two barbarians were sitting in the car waiting for me as the four legged one was not allowed into the Castle

For #HillfortsWednesday it’s an old set of photos taken at Castell Henllys Iron Age Village in Pembrokeshire back in a sunny day in 2023 when the Two Barbarians still consisted of Mike and Fred Dog Missing my Fred Dog rather badly atm but we will have to take Benny Dog to visit there one day soon
