When I saw this show a few weeks back, I searched for which old REM song they were using.
It's not. It's new. But it feels like sophomore year in college to me. And for that, I'm grateful to Michael Stipe and Andrew Watt.

I’m going to buy as many books as I can from these folks. Hope you will too.📚
THREAD: I got laid off from NYMag/Vulture after 14 years. The family lost 75% of income + medical. Now mzs.press bookstore, once a side project. is do-or-die for Judith & I. I feel weird telling you this because others are doing much worse. But if you could like or share this, we'd be so grateful!
The most I've laughed during a movie this year.
It's about a real-life dying dude.

A new look at season two of Your Friends & Neighbors.
So cool that we got to help Chris announce his next Star Wars book! The entire interview is REALLY good and if you like comparing Star Wars politics to real life you will really dig their conversation (watch/listen here: youtu.be/nNTLYZiGf54?... )
This is the truth.
Have yet to see The Bride, but I like this take.
This is too fucking charming.

#Scream VII director and original screenwriter Kevin Williamson breaks down the secrets & spoilers of the new movie:
The upheaval, the alternate ending, the cameos, AI fears, and what’s next for Neve Campbell's slasher survivor…
Honored and moved by this lovely, lengthy tribute. Thank you, Chaz, and all the wonderful folks @ebertvoices.bsky.social. No big drama or scandal here, I'm just choosing to use my time differently. But I'm so proud of my years with Team Ebert. Roger changed my life, and I'm eternally grateful.
I offer a spirited salute to critic Christy Lemire, who is leaving rogerebert.com after a 13 year run in which she wrote about every conceivable type of movie. A total pro. Here's a collection of excerpts of work, with a note from publisher Chaz Ebert: www.rogerebert.com/features/chr...
James Van Der Beek had a plan for a Dawson's Creek revival.
Show creator Kevin Williamson says before the actor got sick they seriously discussed revisiting that world. Time got away from them, though.

There is a lot in this book about robber barons siphoning away prosperity, leaving crumbs and decay for everyone else.
Sounds familiar. This passage could be written about today’s tech ghouls.
This book should be better known.

Flavor Flav has invited the U.S. women's hockey team to Las Vegas to celebrate their Olympic victory.
This comes after the team declined Donald Trump's invitation to attend the State of the Union.
I wrote “Movies Aren’t Too Long, They Just Don’t Know When to End” in 2021, but it was internet erased. I found it and rewrote it a bit because it’s only become worse since then. (See: THE RIP.) Movies have always been long! They just *feel* longer now!
Walton would be fantastic. Also a good friend of Duvall, so there’s a heritage there with King’s own suggestion.
