Maybe a hot take but what if instead of not paying “non-essential” employees who did not ask to be furloughed during the #governmentshutdown we incentivize Congress to get back to work by just not paying them? Maybe a hotter take but refund a percentage of my taxes for the duration of the shutdown.

In any normal situation I might bring up the number of lawsuits surrounding inaccessibility of websites. For now, executive orders don’t change laws so IMO illegal practice under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d) according to ada.gov/resources/web-guidance/
