This weekend, I’m taking a workshop where we write micros inspired by the stories of Lydia Davis run by @megpokrass.bsky.social. Only one day in, and I’m already loving it! Feels so good to be writing again.

My parents had me go through all my school stuff they kept from K-12 to see if I wanted to take anything. And I found this. 🤯 I don’t even remember getting this!

Friends! Does anyone know of an online workshop (preferably flash-focused) that focuses solely on revising current pieces rather than generating new ones? (Pic of my cat, Bishop, included for cat tax.)

Wedding planning took up a lot of my time, energy, and brain space, but it was all worth it for the most beautiful and perfect day. And I am so ready to get back on the horse that is writing!!

Some personal news: I’ve been pretty quiet on here and with my writing as I got MARRIED recently to the loml!! 💕

I haven’t read a collection of flash in TOO long!! Does anyone have any recommendations of a book of flash? I’m dying to read one ASAP! 📕

This past week, I attended Nancy Stohlman and @kathyfish.bsky.social ’s Flash Fiction Retreat in Grand Lake, CO. I’m leaving feeling inspired and rejuvenated. I met some wonderful, talented writers and was surrounded by the most amazing scenery. ⛰️💙
