You can draw your own conclusions. But I think digibashes with an ai assisted filter and additional editing to make them all consistent is the most likely outcome until proven otherwise. All of these are likely a proof of concept more than the actual look. Be wary but the new show isn’t doomed yet.
And we can tell these packages aren’t accurate to the show on Percy alone. His promo has the old cgi saddle despite both of his toys explicitly changing that. These are definitely placeholders because the show is not done yet.

The OpenAI deal was for something completely unrelated. It’s creation and failure would not effect an aesthetic use here. Hell in theory since there’s definitely some digibashing here a lot of photoshop has ai within in it already, this may not have even been a conscious effort (big maybe though)
For example Rosie’s lighting doesn’t match the nitrogen ones cause the most likely ai filter translated the lighting differences differently. The models themselves are the nitrogen rigs, what appears to be s5 Thomas (even has his splasher gap!), and concept art for Harold hence his 2d windows
