Every time a warp is found in Shadow there are always two consistent factors.
Xbox does nothing
And PS2 always kills you 100% of the time.

Sonic 06 has a recomp PC port in development and after building the project it actually runs pretty well. It has some problems but it's a work in progress. That's a given.
I can get shot to the moon in the Sonic/Silver fight at a high frame rate now. Cool
I had a lot of fun at MAGFest! Going home for the time being, but I could see myself going to more cons like this.
Time for day 1 of MAGFest!
I travel with a gray flap GameCube bag consistently. Great for holding small stuff
I'm now 27. One step closer to the big 3-0. I can already feel my bones popping
I think you should
I'm running Shadow the Hedgehog Hero Any% for this. Time to hook up my wii and practice sometime. Might stream a bit too.
There are some songs that you just listen to specific parts of over and over. Idk why I do it.
Recently it's been the sort of breakdown part of Wildfire by Periphery right after the guitar solo but before that extended jazzy piano part.
The timing of that part would be amazing live.
For Shadow. Those are Shadow categories lol
Just submitted Pure Hero No CCG Yes Warps and Hero Any% to this.
Pierce the Veil Concert time! ๐ค
Cat cafes be like :)
I don't post pics of myself often, but I got new glasses! Feeling great right now tbh.
What also caught my ear was how well-produced it sounds. Kind of reminds me of Ghost's early albums in a good way. The guitars and drums sound quite polished. It surprised me.
The vocals being farther back in the overall mix was a bit bizarre. I'm used to bands like this having clearer vocals.
Pierce The Veil: A Flair For The Dramatic
Never really listened to this band outside of a few songs, but I felt like listening to their full albums.
It's a good emo/post-hardcore record. I like the odd transitions to different sounds on some songs. A great first impression of this band as a whole.
Wireless charging is something that fascinates me just due to how it works. Never got the appeal until I tried it out though.
Add that to the list of things I never could get the point of until I try it, like curved computer monitors and trackball mice.
After 8 years of intermittent speedrunning, I'm dropping the TSC part of my tag and replacing it with SR. Even with how long I have been in this space, SR is a better fit.
I made a Sonic Center account when I started running Shadow so I added that to my tag. It made sense at the time, but not now.
Unexpected GDQ staff picture of me says hi. Staff photos are always unexpected.
Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited
Just beat a 100% Tails run of this game. Might 100% the other characters at some point. Idk
A bit too long to beat in one sitting casually (Took me a few nights) but it's fun. 2D Sonic is fun, that's all I can say.
tfw you intentionally take a conversation in a direction that allows you to gush over a hyperfixation.
At a concert now. I'm headbanging to Limp Bizkit before the headliner starts. Help.
I'm in Minneapolis now.
SGDQ time, let's go!
I still haven't kept up since the school arc started airing in Japan. I'm still interested, but I stopped consistently watching around the early 50's in episode count. I hear good things about the subsequent arcs though. Maybe that'll get me to binge the 40-something episodes that have aired since.
"Indistinguishable gremlin noises" is probably my favorite bit I've ever seen in a fansubbed anime. It's the perfect way to describe utter gibberish to me.
When I think about listening to this band's newer stuff, I always go back and listen to this record and Sound of Madness. I guess those albums are musical comfort food to me lol
I think hard rock and heavy metal can work in a pop context. For example, I like bands like Amaranthe and Electric Callboy. I also unironically enjoy Babymetal's first 2 albums.
It's when bands pull a 30 Seconds to Mars and don't mix the genres that rubs me the wrong way.
I've thought about listening to their newer records, but even live their stuff from 2022 onward isn't really my thing.
At least Shinedown is a mainstream rock band that hasn't gone trend-chasing recently, at least musically.
