What went wrong with the knee surgery? I have since read that my surgery ran the risk of not being successful and speeding up arthritis in my knee, which I wasn't aware of at the time.

I'm without prescription pain medication because the consultant said that he tends to steer away from prescribing and that my GP should do that. €200 and he won't write a prescription...I told him to write to her...that was 3 weeks ago.
Ok...I know now to request local before he goes in!!!
From what I now understand, the meniscus surgery is not always successful, and in my case it has definitely exacerbated my pain.
