One time, I noticed a magpie watching me play with my grand dog in the park. The dog jumped up on me excitedly, and the magpie, misinterpreting events, let out its predator warning cry that I know so well from experience with magpies. Birds are great communicators.

I enjoyed painting this little red-capped robin. I was drawn to painting the background, and the colours go well with the approaching festive season. It was finished quickly because it's quite a small painting and I didn't fuss.

Three ago, I visited my dad in another state. His housemate was literally dying, but dad just stared at the TV muttering about unpaid rent. I called the ambulance for his emaciated housemate, and within a week had arranged dementia care for Dad. I recognise Trump's vacant stare.
