For me, Christmas in the 70s was going to Glasgow to see the Fraserβs windows and visiting Santa. It was such a treat, another world then and another world now.
After she died, we found an old job application of my mumβs from the mid/late 70s. It asked for details of her husband and all dependent children (my sister and I) and whether her husband was aware of the application and consented for her to apply for the job.

These kids will have gone through the trauma of the pandemic and now ICE. Their wellbeing has gone π₯ I worry about their adulthood resilience. A whole generation that has had their mental health negatively impacted in ways they may not be aware.
