Probably the most ambitious pano I've shot, given each vertical frame is at 170mm (tiny field of view) which required about 40 individual frames to get the correct perspective. For context the older wide angle frame shows how far away I am from this view

My preference is for this more minimalist one - but that's the sort of thing I like!
A pylon viewed through raindrops on a train window. The drops of water are in focus but the pylon is thrown out of focus although its distinctive shape remains recognisable. The photograph was taken at Barking Riverside, a new development on the Thames just beyond Barking on the East London/Essex borders. The pylon is evidence of the land's former use - as a power station. Barking Riverside is at the end of the Suffragette Line on the London Overground.
