References are your key; they help me a lot to keep on model but also understand the philosophy behind the designs

Once you understand something, it's a lot easier to twist it

Why do you You took ownership of the character instead of just leaving him in oblivion

I take "ownership" for various reasons.

My two main reasons are:

It's important to me is to fulfill my personal goal of making something good out a bad execution at my own pace

and to create a version of the series people can enjoy without relying on JC's original works
