I saw this plaque at Liverpool Pier Head yesterday.
I was very fortunate as I could read fluently before I went to school. So, I was sitting at the back of the class reading The Faraway Tree whist all the other kids were reciting The Cat Sat on the Mat. Kids need books and to be read to as soon as possible.
JFC - we didn't SEND $140 billion to Ukraine in suitcases filled with unmarked bills. We sent them weapons, ammunition & other military supplies. 90% of the money went back into the US economy to make replacement ammunition & military supplies.
