Thanks for your take on the show. I think what they lose with accuracy they gain with artistic expression ( and the desire for high ratings.)
What they did get right was the handling of domestic ( now called intimate partner violence) and sexual assault.
They had the protocol’s and the empathy.

Both. Fewer people smoke, the overall # goes down, and the percentage of nonsmokers getting lung cancer goes up. But the absolute number of nonsmokers getting lung cancer is also rising due to environmental factors such as exposure to wildfire smoke.

This is not wrong actually. ER’s get swamped in Canada because people don’t have primary doctors and wait till things get bad just like the US. Difference is we don’t have to pay but the waits and back ups are the same.
