Then he picks the remote up once more. "I can see that. Shane's definitely scared too."

"Yeah," Kageyama says, his voice barely a whisper as episode three begins.

Kageyama looks back at the screen, his blush creeping up his neck. "He doesn't seem very good at expressing his emotions. And he's probably scared of what will happen if he tells Hollander how he feels."

Hinata keeps his eyes on Kageyama a beat longer.

"Yeah. I want to know what's going to happen after 'We didn't even kiss'," Kageyama says

"Yeeessss! Ilya better not break Shane's heart!"

"He won't. He's totally in love with Hollander."

"What, how can you tell?? He's such an asshole."

Kageyama shrugs. Hinata feels a swoop of victory at the pink tint to Kageyama's cheeks. "Depends on who I'm with. You?"

"Yeah, same with me. It's boring to just stick with one," he says. Then, before this conversation can spiral further, "You want to watch the third one?"

"Don't say it like that, idiot. You sound like a kid."

Hinata let's that slide. "So," he says, not entirely sure why he's asking this "Are you the Ilya or the Shane when you... do it?" He cringes at his own childish words.

"Have you... done that kind of stuff?" Hinata refuses to look away, despite the blush he feels rising to his cheeks. He's no better than the Russian guy in the show.

"Obviously." a pause, then "Have you?"

"Duh. I've probably had way more butt sex than you."

But other than that, the two had never talked about their sexuality or sex or anything even remotely close to sex. Which was honestly a little weird considering how comfortable he felt talking to his other friends about sex... Best not to dwell on that now though.

"Hinata," Kageyama says, turning to look at him, "I'm gay."

"I know that too!" Hinata very clearly remembers Kageyama coming out as gay in their third year of high school.

Not to be outdone, Hinata had come out as bi immediately afterwards.

Kageyama, who'd crossed his legs and managed to keep the magazine in his lap, says "They showed the condoms, but I didn't see any lube. You can't do anal without lube."

"I know that!" Hinata says, fighting to keep is voice from going shrill. "I just didn't know you knew that."

Hinata let's the credits roll this time, pausing when the next episode starts to load.

"It didn't seem like they used lube."

"What??" Hinata screeches, clamping the pillow he'd pulled onto his lap more securely over his crotch.

45 minutes later

Kageyama snorts, "You're on. Whoever taps out first has to do this dishes tonight?"

Hinata is already pressing next episode.
