The issue is that these are excuses Trump uses to hide his clear imperialism. He cares about ownership
But at this crucial moment for Ukraine, for Europe, and for our alliance with America, I want to make it clear: European affairs can only be resolved with Europe's consent. Europe is not a toy, but a sovereign player with its own interests and values.
This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.
